Sad News

The news is Anna Nicole Smith passed away Thursday.  Much love goes out to her family.  So what do you all think happen?   Did she OD or…………….

To My Mom

This goes out to my mom to whom she lost her other sister just 2 days ago.  I know this is a hard at time but if you believe things will get better.  I worry about my mom knowing that she is dealing with so much.  I could never think about if I had lost a child.  Even though she lost a son, I lost a brother and it has been hard.  I was hoping that this New Year would at least start out good.  I just hope from now and until things only get better for her.  Then she had to deal with dad, loss of Robert and losing two sisters now.  Mom I love you and just have faith and things will get better.  I love you mom!

Christmas Day

So James Brown passed away this morning, and then you have Anna Nichole Smith son, and as we all know my brother Robert Hyde.  This Christmas was good, but I felt empty as I am sure others that where close to Robert felt the same way.  This morning and even now I have an empty place in my life and I know it will never be filled again.  Even though Robert was only my brother he was my best friend, some what like a father figure. During my child hood years my father always was drinking and our father never really was the father that he should have been.  So I have always looked up to Robert as a father.   I do however forgive my father for all the pain he has gave us.  Robert was just a GREAT person and anyone that entered his life was blessed.  Robert had a way to deal with things in better ways than most people do.  He only had faith in me that one day I will be able to finish school and become successful.  The truth is that is happening as I speak.  Last year was the last Christmas with Robert (my brother) and I will never for get when Shane and I came to his house and he greeted us.  We ate Christmas dinner, talked and just had a great time.   Robert was drinking his red wine as we were drinking coffee (even though we did not need any coffee).   A Christmas gift that I gave Shane this year was a piece of Art Work that Robert did and I got it framed.  That art work is a gift that I will always have of Roberts and it will always be a part of my brother.

North Alabama

 Now that school is out, Shane and I took a trip to North Alabama to visit mom.  We had Christmas sooner than what we intended.  We had a great time visiting with her; she made us laugh so much.  Having her good cooking, sitting and talking with her was just a great way to get things off our mind and enjoy life.  The best gift that we had this year during Christmas was having her around us.  Mom is just a GREAT woman to know and no matter what is going on she always makes you smile.  We both love her so much and we can not wait until she comes here for a visit after she recovers from her surgery.

What is the meaning of Thanksgiving?

 

To me Thanksgiving is giving thanks to everyone and giving to others.  The meaning of giving and saying “thank you” can also be everything that a person might do during the year for  family, friends, work, and school.  Even though Robert has passed on I still look at him as a person who has helped me become the person I am today.  Even though we may not agree to everything he still` is a person I looked up to.  If I ever had a question about school, life, work, being successful, writing a paper, being me, or just asking a question about our parents he would always have a way to explain things and helping me.   So I do want to say thank you Robert for being a GREAT brother that every brother or sister would love to have.  I also want to think Shane for being who he is today and helping me in so many ways dealing with a new life when we moved to
Savannah.  I also want to thank him for being who he is and for him to be in my life everyday.  I also want to thank my MOM for who she is, how she raised me and how she gave me the power to be the person I am today.  I could never ask for a better mother.  I also want to thank all my friends (new ones and old ones).   I also want to thank everyone that reads this and I hope that you will find something that you are thankful for and maybe give something to someone on this Thanksgiving Day. Most of all I would like to thank GOD for that he has gave me life with out his love I would not be the person I am today. 

We are loving Savannah

 

We only have a few more days and it is Halloween! I am trying to get Shane to grab a Halloween custom, but he will not (sad huh?). We are going out for a few drinks and then to the club. I am not sure if any of you have ever heard of (some of you have I am sure) “The Lady”, but she played in a movie that was filmed here in Savannah called Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil , we should have fun. This will be Shanes first time seeing her. Other than that we have been very busy with work and school. The drive to one of my classes is about an hour away (yawn). I will write more as soon as I can. Having a busy life can really make you tired.  I am about to go to class.  I am sure while we are downtown Savannah Saturday night we will take a few pictures. So to all Happy Halloween! 

Paula Deens? and Target?

We both have been very busy with new jobs and college. We have a full time job now; Shane got a job at (www.LadyandSons.com) and I have a job at Target. We both love our new jobs, for those of you that have never heard of The Lady and Sons all you have to do is scroll down on my blog. Shane is a server and I am working in the Human Resources Department. I also got into school at Brewton Parker College here in Savannah, I start on October 17. Sorry for not writing as much as I would like. I will have some new pictures and I am waiting on Brian Yarmond so I can post a few more things (I hope that is the write spelling of your last name) soon.

I also wanted to add news about my mom.  Mom is doing good, she has just been busy with a few things dealing with Robert’s stuff and etc.
